About the digital education center
The Digital Education Center is a structural unit of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, established to support and implement digital technologies in the educational process, promote the formation of a digital educational space, and develop methodologies for hybrid, blended, and online learning to ensure the intellectual and creative development of participants in the educational process.
LNU E-Learning EnvironmentThe Learning Management System (LMS) MOODLE is one of the world's most popular platforms for e-learning. It enables the creation, management, and delivery of online courses, facilitating both distance and blended learning. MOODLE integrates a wide range of digital tools for interaction between teachers and students, supports personalized learning, and offers features for interactive lessons, testing, assessment, and group work. The flexibility and adaptability of this platform make it an ideal solution for universities, schools, and corporate training. At Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, we use the MOODLE-based E-Learning Environment as the university’s primary platform. It provides access to learning materials, communication support for educational participants, improvement of teaching methods, and helps both teachers and students effectively utilize digital technologies in the learning process.
