THE MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Digitalization of archival documents in order to establish insurance fund and fund of documents usage;
Digitalization of university documents that are deposited in the State Archives of Lviv region, Central State Historical Archive in Lviv, manuscripts department of Lviv National Library named after V. Stefanyk and other archives to create a unified digital archive of Lviv University documents;
Implementation of electronic descriptions of archival documents;
Implementation and maintenance of electronic databases of: university students, employees, rector’s orders, etc.;
Implementation of programs to automate the work on the archival information delivery, description of documents and other processes associated with the work of archival documents and information;
Work with other departments of the University on modeling, development and implementation of record keeping automation at the University;
Creation of electronic archives of documents;
Providing functioning of the University Archives website;
Development of main principles of search, access and usage of documents via Internet and local network of the University.
